Jewel Playground is a litte universe where ideas get to play.
We believe jewellery should carry a story, a memory, a little piece of you. "It all started with turning my children's clay creation into fine jewellery because I wanted to make them last forever."
Playful creation turned into a collection.
Jewel Playground collections sit between classics and a little bit of fun. We believe jewellery should be worn every day, hassle-free, so we made them effortlessly wearable and versatile, so looking good every day comes easier.
Meet April
Traditional goldsmithing gave me the freedom to bring an idea to life exactly as I envision it. I started Jewel Playground to make that experience more approachable- to simplify the process of creating custom jewellery, so more people who want it can experience the joy of creating their own cherished possession. For children ages 5–14, we invite you to join our Young Jewellers Workshop— a joyful first step into making a piece of fine jewellery using simple tools and materials.
Each Jewel Playground creation begins at my bench in Hong Kong, or is brought to life with our experienced master craftsmen. My work is inspired by moments by the sea, by nature, with people I meet, and by structures and forms that stay with me. Sometimes it's a treasured memory, sometimes it's as simple as a child's imagination.
